A New Vision for Re-Building Community

Empowering Communities, One Life at a Time

Our Mission

Our mission is to nurture connections and foster a sense of belonging through innovative and refreshing methodologies that resonate deeply with individuals and positively impact their socio-economic relationships. At the heart of LWM’s new vision is the belief that every person is a vital thread in the fabric of the community. They emphasize inclusivity, diversity, and mutual respect as the cornerstones of their approach. By focusing on these principles, LWM strives to create spaces that are valued and empowered to contribute meaningfully.

Our Focus Population

We empower adults aged 55 to 100 by demonstrating how technology can enhance access to essential resources, strengthen family and community connections, and open doors to personal and professional opportunities.

Our Unique Approach

Recognizing that personal growth and development are integral to community revitalization, we employ innovative, forward-thinking strategies to engage and inspire individuals through structured, interactive workshops. By leveraging technology as a central tool, we connect participants to essential information and resources while cultivating practical, real-world skills that support both personal advancement and broader community well-being.

The Need

Too many seniors in our community face isolation, digital exclusion, and barriers to vital services. We see it every day—talented, vibrant individuals who just need the right tools and a little guidance to re-engage with the world around them.

In fact, limited access to technology and a lack of digital literacy leaves many seniors disconnected from their own communities and in some cases, their own families and their younger generations.

How We Help

Our program bridges this divide by offering hands-on training in essential digital skills—including the use of smartphones, email, video calls, social media, online health portals, and internet safety. Through these tools, we connect seniors to vital resources, services, and social networks, enabling them to live more informed, engaged, and connected lives.

Bridging the Social Divide

Using technology to facilitate effective interpersonal communication in an environment that is a serene, nurturing and inclusive, LWM is bridging the social divide between seniors and younger generations.

We expand opportunities for seniors to share wisdom and life experience, strengthening their roles within their families and communities.

Rooted in Purpose, Driven by Compassion

THE SENTEC PROGRAM

SENTEC (Seniors Engaged with New Technology and Educational Coaching) is our training platform designed to help seniors live fully engaged lives within their communities by providing hands-on learning opportunities that build confidence in using technology—such as smartphones, tablets, email, video conferencing, and social media. These digital tools strengthen social connections with family and friends, improve access to vital services like telehealth and transportation, and enable participation in community activities, lifelong learning, and civic engagement.

Flowing Forward

A Capital Campaign For Connection and Care.
