A New Vision for Re-Building Community
Empowering Communities, One Life at a Time
Our Mission
Our mission is to nurture connections and foster a sense of belonging through innovative and refreshing methodologies that resonate deeply with individuals and positively impact their socio-economic relationships. At the heart of LWM’s new vision is the belief that every person is a vital thread in the fabric of the community. They emphasize inclusivity, diversity, and mutual respect as the cornerstones of their approach. By focusing on these principles, LWM strives to create spaces that are valued and empowered to contribute meaningfully.
Our Focus Population
We empower adults aged 55 to 100 by demonstrating how technology can enhance access to essential resources, strengthen family and community connections, and open doors to personal and professional opportunities.
Our Unique Approach
The Need
Too many seniors in our community face isolation, digital exclusion, and barriers to vital services. We see it every day—talented, vibrant individuals who just need the right tools and a little guidance to re-engage with the world around them.
In fact, limited access to technology and a lack of digital literacy leaves many seniors disconnected from their own communities and in some cases, their own families and their younger generations.

How We Help
Bridging the Social Divide
Using technology to facilitate effective interpersonal communication in an environment that is a serene, nurturing and inclusive, LWM is bridging the social divide between seniors and younger generations.
We expand opportunities for seniors to share wisdom and life experience, strengthening their roles within their families and communities.
Rooted in Purpose, Driven by Compassion
THE SENTEC PROGRAM
SENTEC (Seniors Engaged with New Technology and Educational Coaching) is our training platform designed to help seniors live fully engaged lives within their communities by providing hands-on learning opportunities that build confidence in using technology—such as smartphones, tablets, email, video conferencing, and social media. These digital tools strengthen social connections with family and friends, improve access to vital services like telehealth and transportation, and enable participation in community activities, lifelong learning, and civic engagement.
Flowing Forward
A Capital Campaign For Connection and Care.
Nestled in the heart of the community on Franklin Place, the Living Water Ministries (LWM) “home” site stands as a historic testament to the strength and beauty of the past. It serves as a powerful reminder that aging structures—much like our senior adults—are not to be discarded, but nurtured and revitalized. In doing so, we preserve and honor the nourishment, wisdom, and enduring value they offer, while deepening our connection to a rich and vibrant history.”
Now, through our Flowing Forward Capital Campaign, we seek to breathe new life into this treasured space. With thoughtful renovation and upgrades, we will preserve its historic charm while transforming it into a modern hub for connection, service, and digital empowerment.
We invite you to join us in this transformative journey. Your support will help restore and revitalize the our Plainfield site on Franklin Place—not only preserving a historic gem, but reimagining it as a vibrant, technology-forward community hub. With your help, we can ensure that every inch of this sacred space reflects safety, accessibility, and renewed purpose. Your investment is a commitment to honoring the past while building a stronger, more connected future.
